Pink Shirt Day – February 28, 2018

Pink Shirt Day

One in five children are bullied. I know I’m glad I’m not a kid growing up in today’s society where the bullies are not just in your face but online too.  This year’s focus is cyber safety.   Check out the official website and other official websites listed below for more details.  There is a section for parents and other adults which provides tips of preventing bullying and assisting those unfortunately bullied.

Wear a pink shirt to show your support for ending bullying and consider donating or volunteering at with a local kids group and/or youth support organization.  Remember that kindness and compassion can go a long ways.

“Blowing out someone else’s candle

doesn’t make yours shine any brighter.”
